秦勇在中阿友谊城项目启动仪式暨中阿经贸投资合作论坛筹备大会上的讲话（全文）
2019年4月29日上午，中阿友谊城项目启动仪式暨中阿经贸投资合作论坛筹备大会在枣庄开元凤鸣山庄成功举行。此举标志着中阿友谊城项目以及中阿经贸投资合作论坛正式启动，同时也标志着中国阿拉伯交流协会副会长秦勇（卡利姆）正式开始了积极回报家乡、参与建设家乡的新征程。刚刚结束第二届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛的埃及前总理、“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛咨询委员会委员伊萨姆·沙拉夫应邀访问枣庄，出席上述活动。
以下为中国阿拉伯交流协会副会长秦勇的讲话全文：
尊敬的埃及前总理伊萨姆·沙拉夫阁下，
尊敬的各位领导嘉宾，
女士们，先生们，朋友们，
上午好！
树高千丈，根扎故里。在这个春意盎然、生机勃勃的美好时节，我很高兴在家乡同大家相聚，共同参加中阿友谊城项目启动仪式暨中阿经贸投资合作论坛筹备大会。首先，我谨代表中国阿拉伯交流协会并以我个人的名义，向远道而来的中国政府贵宾、埃及前总理伊萨姆·沙拉夫阁下致以最崇高的敬意和最热烈的欢迎，向各地前来参会的嘉宾和家乡亲朋好友表示热烈的欢迎和亲切的问候！
上个月，也就是3月20日，我们在家乡枣庄颐正园举行了秦勇（卡利姆）从事中阿友好工作13周年、中东和平工作6周年枣庄招待会。这也是我本人从事中阿友好工作13年以来，首次在家乡举办纪念活动，巴林、叙利亚、利比亚、摩洛哥、埃及等阿拉伯国家驻华大使、代办、副大使等应邀出席会议。
今天再次聚首枣庄，我很荣幸地邀请到了埃及前总理伊萨姆·沙拉夫阁下到我的家乡访问做客。前总理阁下作为中国政府贵宾，一带一路国际合作高峰论坛咨询委员会委员，此次应中国政府邀请出席第二届一带一路国际合作高峰论坛，昨天下午会议一结束就风尘仆仆地乘坐高铁来到枣庄访问，实在令人感动，实在令家乡人民振奋。
这应该是我们枣庄建市以来，首次迎来一位外国前政要。我期待着在前总理阁下的支持下，积极推动家乡和包括埃及在内的阿拉伯国家建立友好往来，开展经贸投资合作。
尊敬的各位来宾，
21年前，当我还年轻的时候，我一个人背井离乡去到北京，一日日疏离故土，而如今，我却愿意抛舍一切，回到家乡，希望为家乡做一些力所能及的贡献，其实，这一切都是为了心中那无法泯灭的乡愁。
到今年，我本人已经从事中阿友好工作13周年、中东和平工作6周年。在过去的13年间，我始终不渝地致力于推动中阿民间友好合作。既然，上帝给了我这个平台、身份和能力。或许现在，正好到了反哺家乡、报效桑梓的时候了。不论家乡是否理解我的那颗赤子之心，我都愿意将自己的热血洒遍家乡这片熟悉而又陌生、亲切而又疏远的土地之上。
今年年初，在经过反复研究和论证后，我积极倡议在家乡投资建立中阿友谊城，希望在自己的家乡搭建一座中国与阿拉伯国家开展友好往来以及经贸投资的新型合作平台。
希望在家乡市委、市政府和薛城区委、区政府的大力支持下，中阿友谊城的建设和运营，将为枣庄市吸引和聚集一批具有国际先进水平的国内企业和阿拉伯企业，助力枣庄市的“双招双引”工作；并在山东省新旧动能转换战略的指引下，推进枣庄市产业转型升级，加快新动能的培育，增强枣庄市在省内乃至全国的经济影响力。
尊敬的各位来宾，
为了配合中阿友谊城项目的建设、运营和发展，我还希望在家乡枣庄搭建一个国际会议平台，定期定址举办中阿经贸投资合作论坛，力争打造成为务实合作的会议机制。我们希望论坛能够吸引带动和扩大周边城市，比如临沂、济宁、菏泽、泰安等山东省有关城市和江苏、安徽等有关城市同阿拉伯国家广泛而又深入地开展经贸投资合作，将我的家乡枣庄建设成为中阿经贸投资合作的主要核心会议平台。
为此，我们希望在枣庄市委、市政府和各相关职能部门的大力支持下，在家乡领导和家乡人民的积极帮助下，我本人和我的团队将不遗余力地推进论坛的建设和发展，希望能进一步有力地提升家乡的外向度，积极地扩大家乡的对外交流合作。
尊敬的各位来宾，
2019年，也就是今年，是我本人从事中阿友好工作13周年、中东和平工作6周年。今年的8月8日、23日，我们将分别在北京和上海举行两场大规模的“秦勇（卡利姆）从事中阿友好工作13周年、中东和平工作6周年招待会”，以此来庆祝和纪念所走过的13年的风雨历程。
在这里，我要感谢枣庄广播电视台手机客户端“指动枣庄APP”，感谢我的高中老同学李国梁先生，在他的积极推动下，“指动枣庄APP”专门为我特别制作推出了“秦勇（卡利姆）：中阿民间外交的先行者”新闻专题。这将是家乡人民了解我，了解阿拉伯国家，了解中阿关系发展的一扇窗口。我本人特别希望能帮助家乡人民打开这扇窗口，让家乡人民充分地了解到一个真实的阿拉伯国家，一个快速发展的中阿传统友好合作关系。
尊敬的各位来宾，
3月20日，我在枣庄颐正园举行的秦勇（卡利姆）从事中阿友好工作13周年、中东和平工作6周年枣庄招待会上曾讲过：参天之木，必有其根；怀山之水，必有其源。游子千里梦，依依故乡情。枣庄是生我养我的地方，这里的一山一水无不与我有着深厚的感情。居京工作20余年，始终都无法忘记我的家乡，时刻都把枣庄装在我的心里。
从事中阿友好工作13年，走遍千山万水，游览世界各地，最美的还是家乡，最让人留恋的还是枣庄。爱国当爱家乡，兴邦先兴故里。世界上再美的风景，都不及回家的那段路。世界上最有意义的事情，莫过于回报自己的家乡。
在这里，我仍然希望引用印度诗人泰戈尔的诗句来表达我的家乡情怀：“无论你走得多么远，你的心总和我连在一起；无论黄昏时树的影子有多长，它总是和树根连在一起。”是的，不管走得多远、身在何方，枣庄永远都是我的家乡，这里永远都是生我养我的地方。
最后，我再次感谢埃及前总理阁下来到我的家乡做客并出席今天的会议活动！再次感谢家乡的领导和朋友们对我们工作的大力支持！衷心祝愿伟大的埃及人民和中国人民就好像金字塔和长城一样永远屹立不倒！诚挚祝愿我的家乡枣庄明天更美好！

Good morning!
Even the tree is thousands feet tall, the roots are still tied to the hometown. In this beautiful and vibrant spring, I am very happy to meet with you in my hometown and participate in the launching ceremony of the China-Africa Friendship Town Project and the preparatory meeting for the China-Arab Economic and Trade Investment Cooperation Forum. First of all, on behalf of the China Arab Exchange Association and in my own name, I would like to extend my highest respect and warmest welcome to the Chinese government guests and H.E. Former Egyptian Prime Minister Mr. Essam Sharaf, who came from afar, as well as my warm welcome and cordial greetings to the guests and friends from home and abroad!
Last month, on March 20th, we organized the Reception Meeting on 13th Anniversary of Kareem Qin’s (Qin Yong’s) Commitment to China-Arab Friendship Work and the 6th Anniversary of Kareem Qin’s (Qin Yong’s) Dedication to Middle East Peace Work at Yizhengyuan, Zaozhuang, which is my hometown. This is the first time that I have been engaged in commemorative activities in my hometown since I was engaged in China-Arab friendly work 13 years ago. The ambassadors, agents and deputy ambassadors of Arab states such as Bahrain, Syria, Libya, Morocco and Egypt were invited to attend.
Today, We are gathering again at Zaozhuang. I am honored to invite H.E. Former Egyptian Prime Minister Mr. Essam Sharaf, to visit my hometown. As the VIP of the Chinese government and member of the Advisory Committee of the Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum, H.E. Former Egyptian Prime Minister is here at the invitation of the Chinese Government to attend the 2nd Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit. After the meeting, which ended yesterday afternoon, H.E took the high-speed train to Zaozhuang regardless of tiredness. It is really moving, and it really excites the people of my hometown.
This should be the first time that we have welcomed a former foreign politician since the establishment of Zaozhuang city. I look forward to actively promoting the friendly exchanges between the hometown and the Arab states including Egypt and carrying out economic and trade investment cooperation with the support of H.E Former Prime Minister.

Twenty-one years ago, when I was still young, I left my hometown and went to Beijing alone, for each day of that time, i was separated from my hometown. Now, I am willing to give up everything and return to my hometown, hoping to make some contribution within my capacity for her. In fact, All this is for the homesickness that can't be eased over my heart.
Till this year, I have been engaged in the 13th anniversary of China-Arab friendly work and the 6th anniversary of Middle East peace work. In the past 13 years, I have been unswervingly committed to promoting friendly cooperation between China and Arab states. Since God gave me this platform, identity and ability, perhaps now, it is the right time to return to the hometown and make contribution for her. Regardless of whether my hometown understands my heart, I am willing to spread my own blood on this familiar, strange, intimate and alienated land of her.
At the beginning of this year, after repeated research and argumentation, I actively advocated the establishment of China-Arab Friendship Town in here, hoping to build a new cooperation platform for friendly exchanges and economic and trade investment between China and the Arab states in here.
It is hoped that with the great support of the Hometown Municipal Committee, the Municipal Government, the Xuecheng District Committee and the District Government, the construction and operation of the China-Africa Friendship Town will attract and gather a group of domestic and Arab enterprises on international advanced level to help Zaozhuang. Under the guidance of the new and old driving forces conversion strategy of Shandong Province, the city will promote the industrial transformation and upgrading of Zaozhuang City, accelerate the cultivation of new driving force, and enhance the economic influence of Zaozhuang City in the province and even the whole country.

In order to be in line with the construction, operation and development of the China-Africa Friendship Town project, I also hope to build an international conference platform in Zaozhuang, my hometown, to regularly organize the China-Africa Economic and Trade Investment Cooperation Forum, and strive to build a meeting mechanism for pragmatic cooperation. We hope that the forum will attract and expand to the surrounding cities, such as Linyi, Jining, Heze, Tai'an and other related cities within Shandong Province, as well as Jiangsu, Anhui and other related cities to jointly carry out economic and trade investment cooperation with Arab states extensively and deeply, and build my hometown Zaozhuang to be the main core conference platform for China-Arab economic and trade investment cooperation.
To this end, we hope that with the support of the Zaozhuang Municipal Party Committee, the municipal government and relevant functional departments, with the active help of the leaders of the hometown and the people in here, I and my team will spare no effort to promote the construction and development of the forum, hoping that we can further enhance the outward orientation of our hometown and actively expand foreign exchanges and cooperation in our hometown.

2019, this year, is the 13th anniversary of my China-Arab friendly work and the 6th anniversary of middle east peace work. On August 8 and 23 this year, we will organize two large-scale Reception Meetings on 13th Anniversary of Kareem Qin’s (Qin Yong’s) Commitment to China-Arab Friendship Work and the 6th Anniversary of Kareem Qin’s (Qin Yong’s) Dedication to Middle East Peace Work in Beijing and Shanghai respectively, to celebrate and commemorate the 13 years of history that has passed.
Here, I would like to thank the mobile phone terminal of Zaozhuang Radio and TV Station for “Fingertip Zaozhuang APP”. Thanks to my high schoolmate Mr. Li Guoliang, under his active promotion, “Fingertip Zaozhuang APP”specially opened news column for me, namely as Kareem Qin (Qin Yong): The Forerunner of China-Arab Non-governmental diplomacy. This will be a window for the people in my hometown to understand me, to understand the Arab states, and to understand the development of China-Arab relations. I personally hope that I can help the people in my hometown to open this window and let the people in my homeland fully understand a real Arab world, a fast-developing traditional friendship and cooperation between China and Arab states.

On March 20th, during the Reception Meeting on 13th Anniversary of Kareem Qin’s (Qin Yong’s) Commitment to China-Arab Friendship Work and the 6th Anniversary of Kareem Qin’s (Qin Yong’s) Dedication to Middle East Peace Work at Yizhengyuan, Zaozhuang, I once said: the towering wood must have its roots; The water in the mountains must have its source. The wanderer who is thousands miles away from hometown must have his dream, with heavy hometown complex attached to. Zaozhuang is the place where I was born and raised. The mountains and waters here mean deep attachment to me. After living in Beijing for more than 20 years, I have never been able to forget my hometown and always put Zaozhuang in my heart.
I have been engaged in China-Arab friendship work for 13 years, traveled thousands of miles of waters and mountains and visited around the world, the most beautiful place is still hometown, the most reluctant to me is Zaozhuang. Hometown loving shall go before patriotism, hometown rejuvenation shall go before state rejuvenation. The beauty of the world is not as good as the way home. The most meaningful thing in the world is to return to your hometown.
Here, I still hope to quote the poetry of the Indian poet Tagore to express my hometown feelings: "No matter how far you go, your heart is always with me; no matter how long the tree casts its shadow at dusk, it is always tied with the roots. "Yes, no matter how far you go or where you are, Zaozhuang is always my hometown. It is always the place where I was born and raised.
Finally, I once again wanna thank the Former Prime Minister of Egypt for coming to my hometown to be a guest and attended today's meeting! Thanks again to the leaders and friends of my hometown for their support of our work! I sincerely hope that the great Egyptian people and the Chinese people will stand forever like the Pyramids and the Great Wall! Sincerely wish my hometown Zaozhuang a better tomorrow!
